17 Arab countries declared Thursday the first day of the holy month of Ramadan
Weather of Arabia - Today, Tuesday, several Arab countries announced the results of the investigation of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1444/2023, as today coincided with the 29th of the month of Sha`ban, and the result of the investigation was that the crescent of Ramadan could not be seen because of its sunset before the sun, and accordingly 17 Arab countries announced that the dawn of the month of Ramadan For the Hijri year 1444, it will be on Thursday corresponding to March 23, 2023 AD, and these countries are:
- Saudi Arabia
- Egypt
- Libya
- Tunisia
- Sudan
- The UAE
- Qatar
- Kuwait
- the two seas
- Syria
- Iraq
- Lebanon
- Yemen
- Palestine
- Somalia
- Djibouti
- Comoros.
Most Arab countries investigated the crescent of the month on Tuesday, March 21, which coincides with them on the 29th of the month of Sha'ban 1444 AH.
While the crescent committees meet in Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, Jordan, and the Sultanate of Oman, to observe the crescent of the holy month, on the evening of Wednesday, March 22nd.
