بحسب صحيفة الرياض السعودية، تم إنتاج 78 مليون عبوة زمزم في إطار رفع الطاقة الإنتاجية اليومية لتفي بحاجة الراغبين بالماء المبارك.

 

كما تم رفع أداء قطاعات المشروع لتوفير ماء زمزم لزوار المدينتين المقدستين، بطرق سهلة ومريحة عبر آليات أوتوماتيكية لضمان نقاوة ماء زمزم وفق المعايير العالمية منذ خروجها من البئر وحتى وصولها للمصنع ثم تعبئتها في عبوات بلاستيكية وتوزيعها على المستهلكين.

 

وتتاح العبوات ذات الخمس لترات لحجاج بيت الله الحرام المغادرين عبر المطارات لتسهيل عملية شحنها نظامياً في الطائرات، ولهذا الغرض وضعت نقاط خدمة عبوات ماء زمزم المهيأة للشحن الجوي في جميع صالات المطارات التي يغادر منها الحجاج على مدار الساعة.
