In a statement by Mira Moratti, chief technical officer at OpenAI, she confirmed that the new version relies on thinking across a wide range of media such as sound, text, and vision, which enhances the experience of interaction between humans and machines.
The new version allows for more natural interaction through voice, as users can listen to the application's answers and receive various voice responses, even singing.
The visual capabilities of the new “GPT Chat” have also been improved, enabling it to analyze images faster and respond to questions related to their content effectively. The new version of the “GPT Chat” application has been developed to include an improvement in the web user interface, where the screen shows Home is more interactive, and messages have a new design.
The company announced the launch of the “GPT Chat” application for desktop devices running the “Mac OS” system, with a promise to provide a version for the “Windows” system later this year.
