According to the path of the depression, its effects will be in the form of a state of atmospheric instability that includes 12 Arab countries represented by the countries of North Africa, the Levant, most of the countries of the Arabian Peninsula, and Iraq. The effects of the state of atmospheric instability on the region can be explained, and its severity varies from one region to another according to the path of the depression. The rainy state includes the following countries, God willing:

Libya and Egypt: The low pressure system is centered over Libyan territory and will move towards Egypt on Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by atmospheric disturbances represented by the proliferation of cumulonimbus clouds and showers of rain in several areas in the north of the country. The rain is sometimes heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and perhaps hail showers. Also, due to the centering of the low pressure system in northern Egypt, active northwesterly winds are blowing, accompanied by strong gusts that stir up sand in several areas, and the waves are disturbed on the northern coasts.

The Levant: As the upper air system gradually moves eastward during the evening hours of Sunday and Monday, unstable weather conditions will arise in several areas of the Levant (scattered parts of Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan, specifically the eastern Badia), where clouds will be affected at different altitudes and the opportunity will be prepared for showers of rain to fall on random geographical areas concentrated in the Badia and may sometimes be heavy, accompanied by hail showers in those areas. The effects are not expected to be widespread or comprehensive in all areas.

Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula: God willing, the effects of the unstable weather conditions are expected to be concentrated as the upper air depression moves towards the Arabian Peninsula on Sunday evening and moves slowly towards the east, so unstable weather conditions will prevail for several days, starting from Saudi Arabia and Iraq, extending towards Kuwait on Monday. Therefore, cumulus clouds will multiply and thunderstorms will fall covering several regions, sometimes heavy, accompanied by lightning and dense hail. The chances of rain will extend in the form of scattered showers towards Qatar, Bahrain and limited areas of the Emirates.

Unstable weather conditions increase the chances of hail and sudden wind activity.

These cases are also accompanied by an increased likelihood of large hail and sudden wind activity. Dense dust belts may also form in desert areas before the onset of thunderstorms. It is expected, God willing, that the upcoming case will be mainly concentrated in the southern and eastern regions of the Kingdom, which requires caution and preparation.

Unstable weather conditions pose a risk in some areas, as they may lead to flash floods resulting from heavy rainfall in narrow areas and for short periods of time, especially in mountainous and rocky areas, where rainwater flows from the highlands into valleys. Previous dry seasons also increase the likelihood of floods forming, as rainwater does not easily penetrate the soil, but rather collects on the surface and quickly flows into valleys and channels designated for floods. Therefore, flood channels should be monitored and valleys and low-lying areas should be avoided in the event of unstable weather conditions or low-pressure systems.
