Is it normal for hail to fall in Saudi Arabia with this intensity?
Experts at Arab Weather believe that hail in many regions of the Kingdom is a common occurrence that occurs many times every year, especially in Hail, Qassim, Al-Jawf and the Northern Borders . This is not new, as cases of atmospheric instability are active in these regions during the fall, and cumulonimbus clouds are formed, accompanied by hail showers, which are formed as a result of convection currents, as these currents carry water droplets to the upper layers of the atmosphere with extreme cold, which freezes them and then causes them to fall again towards the ground in the form of hail showers.
