Arab Weather - The Kingdom has been affected since last Wednesday by a state of atmospheric instability, which increased significantly on Thursday, especially in the evening and night hours, and continued until dawn on Friday. Thunderstorms fell on many areas, where they were heavy at times and accompanied by heavy hail showers in narrow geographical areas, which led to the formation of torrents and a rise in water levels on the roads. With the hours of Friday morning, scattered rains continued in various regions.

Tafilah - Al-Ays: 38.5 mm
Karak - Palace: 30 mm

Amman - South Bnayyat: 11.7 mm
Ajloun - Rasoun, Sanar: 7.5 mm
Jerash - Kefir: 5.7 mm
Salt - Stairs: 5.4 mm
Irbid - Northern District: 4.2 mm
The effect of rain on water reserves:
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Jordan Valley Authority said that the recent rainfall was concentrated in the eastern and southern regions, where 8 million cubic meters of rain and valley flow entered the dams and desert excavations during the recent low pressure system. Thus, the total storage in the 15 main dams rose to 95 million cubic meters, representing 33% of their storage capacity of 288,128 million cubic meters.
Distribution in dams:
Mujib Dam: 4.5 million cubic meters, bringing the storage to 18 million cubic meters, at a rate of 74%.
Al-Wala Dam: 2.5 million cubic meters, bringing the storage to 4.4 million cubic meters, at a rate of 17%.
Al-Wahidi Dam in Ma'an: 750 thousand cubic meters.
The rest of the quantity was distributed to various desert excavations and other dams, except for the Zarqa Ma'in/Madaba Dam.
