Very dense fog covers the mountainous heights, including the capital, Amman, and the foggy weather is expected to continue in the coming hours.
Arab Weather - Satellite images operated by the Arab Weather Regional Center, which are specialized in surveying places where fog forms, have detected the passage of low clouds touching the Earth's surface, which creates fog of varying density and sometimes very dense in most of the northern and central mountainous highlands, including the Ajloun Mountains, which include main roads, in addition to many areas of the capital, Amman, and the general highlands of the south of the Kingdom.
These areas are witnessing a decrease in horizontal visibility, and horizontal visibility in some areas has reached less than 20 meters due to the heavy fog.
Fog continues tonight and into Saturday morning
God willing, dense fog is expected to continue forming at times for the rest of this night over many northern and central mountain heights and extend to parts of the eastern plains and valleys in addition to the eastern desert regions.
It is expected to be very dense, with horizontal visibility dropping below 20 metres over some areas, and fog will continue to form until tomorrow morning.
God knows best.
