The most famous and hottest sweltering star... “Al-Zaaq”: Today is the first of the Al-Marzam season, which lasts 13 days.
Weather of Arabia - Meteorologist, Dr. Khaled bin Saleh Al-Zaaq, said that today is the first day of the Al-Marzam season, one of the most famous hot stars, which lasts for 13 days. During this season, farmers start reaping their fruits day and night, and all the palm markets are moving.
Dr. Al-Zaaq added: “Our ancient people say: If the muzam enters, fill the hazam. Al-muzaq is a star and it is the brightest star in the sky and the most famous and warmest of the hottest stars, and the hazam is what a man tightens around his waist.”
He continued in a video he posted on his account in "X", that Al-Marzam is known in the Arabic language as Al-Sha'ari, and it is called Al-Marzam because the camels begin to complain about the heat when they enter it, making sounds known as Al-Marzam.
