ArabiaWeather.com- أكد مدير قسم الحماية وتنظيم الصيد في الجمعية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة عبدالرزاق الحمود، أنه جرى ضبط عدد من انواع الحيوانات المحظور بيعها في الاردن في أحد المحال في عمان، والذي تمت متابعته لأسابيع، إذ جرى مصادرتها جميعا بعد كتابة الضبط اللازم.
وأوضح أنه تم مصادرة 4 أشبال أسود عمرها شهرين، و40 سلحفاة برية، و25 سنجابا بريا، 120 أفعى مستوردة من نوع بايثون، و23 طيرا من نوع الحساسين، و4 طيور بلابل، وقنفد واحد.
وأضاف أنها ضبطت بواسطة مرتبات الإدارة الملكية لحماية البيئية ومفتشو قسم الحماية وتنظيم الصيد في الجمعية، في محل تجاري خاص ببيع الحيوانات وطيور الزينة، مشيرا أن هذه الحيوانات قد تم إدخالها إلى المملكة بطرق غير شرعية، ولأهداف تجارية غالبا كان سيتم تصديرها خارج المملكة لإحدى الدول المجاورة، حيث ثم تسليمها لمؤسسة المأوى- ليتم إعادة تصديرها لأماكنها الطبيعية في الوقت المناسب.
