The reason for the unusual wave of winter warmth in Europe

According to weather data in the Arab Regional Weather Center, this wave of warmth originates from the African continent, and this resulted from the presence of an air depression over the waters of the Atlantic Ocean that pushed cold (heavy weight) northwest winds, which led to the expansion of warm air (light weight) from the African continent Towards the south of the European continent, with twenty-something temperatures recorded in some areas.

Strong belts of jet stream winds settle over the North Atlantic Ocean and into Scandinavia in contrast to the strong high pressure (also known as a "heat dome") over mainland Europe and locations to the south. In addition to the thermal dome providing its own warmth due to cloud cover and lack of rain, the larger formation draws hot air from the deserts of the Iberian Peninsula and Africa, eventually delivering it to its downwind European neighbor.

However, updates for the coming days indicate the end of the warm wave as a result of the progression of a cold air mass accompanied by rain, with expectations of the return of snowfall over the Alps.
