Arab Weather - Saudi Arabia is the first country in the world to provide seasonal influenza vaccination services in the homes of citizens and residents in all regions of the Kingdom, free of charge. This is not surprising for the Kingdom, which pays great attention to healthcare for all its residents. Saudi Arabia has facilitated access to health services and increased the percentage of specialized consultations provided from 38% to 84% in just four weeks, according to the national platform, with an expansion in services provided to both urban and rural areas.

Seasonal influenza vaccine in Saudi Arabia

According to the Ministry of Health, the seasonal influenza vaccine is an important preventive measure to reduce serious health complications that may require patients to be admitted to intensive care or may lead to death.
