Arab Weather - The concerned agencies, at the instigation of the Governor of Irbid Radwan Al-Atoum, on Friday evacuated 6 houses in the northern Jordan Valley, as a precaution against exposure to rainwater rains or falling rocks on them, as they are located in low areas.

Al-Atoum told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that many residents of the evacuated houses were accommodated in Al-Masharea 'Secondary School for Girls, which was prepared as part of the pre-emergency plan, while the rest of the residents were accommodated in the homes of their relatives.

Al-Atoum indicated that the vacated houses are located in the areas of Al-Masharea and Wadi Abu Al-Naaj of the Municipality of Tabqa Fahl, whose building was exposed, last night, to the fall of a forest tree.

Al-Atoum said that the areas of the Northern Aghwar Brigade witnessed yesterday evening and Friday morning the fall of a number of forest trees and the blowing of solid objects, including many greenhouses, without any human injuries.

Al-Atoum pointed out that the solid objects fly off and trees fell on the electricity network, which led to blackouts in some areas, and they were dealt with immediately by the emergency teams in coordination with the administrative governor and the technical teams of the company, and the current was restored in a short time.
