موقع ArabiaWeather.com- سنان خلف – بالتزامن مع إنطلاقة فعاليات كأس العالم 2014 أعلنت السلطات البرازيلية عن ارتفاع عدد قتلى الفيضانات في الأجزاء الجنوبية من البرازيل  إلى 13 شخص وسط توقعات بارتفاع أعداد الضحايا نظراً لوجود مفقودين.

 

وقد تسببت موجة الأمطار الغزيرة والفيضانات بتشريد أكثر من 500 ألف شخص في 150 مدينة بولاية بارانا في نهر اجوازو بعد أن داهمت الفيضانات منازلهم لتُحدث أضرارً جسيمة بها.

 

وارتفعت مياه الانهار في المنطقة إلى مستويات خطرة في جنوب باراجواي والأرجنتين، ووسط هذه الأجواء المُتقلبة تتجه الأنظار إلى كوريتيبا عاصمة ولاية بارانا والتي من المُنتظر أن تستضيف أربع مباريات في دور المجموعات خلال بطولة كأس العالم.

 

وكانت السلطات البرازيلية قد أشارت في وقتٍ سابق إلى أن الملاعب التي ستقام عليها المُباريات بعيدة عن المناطق المُتضررة .
