The Directorate urged the citizens to stay away from the sites of water bodies to avoid the risk of falling in them, and not to risk cutting off the road, either on foot or by vehicles in the event of a high water level, and not to allow children to play near the water bodies, stressing not to risk the use of vehicles for long distances in case of rain Excessively, avoiding driving vehicles during low horizontal visibility, safe use of heating devices of all kinds, providing adequate ventilation from time to time and not leaving fireplaces burning during sleep.

It also called on citizens to call the unified emergency number (911) throughout the Kingdom when needed.
