Here are the activities that put you most at risk of infection with the Corona virus.. according to a British study
Weather of Arabia - An official study conducted by the British Government's Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE), examined the daily activities of more than 10,000 people in England and Wales between September and November of the year 2021, to analyze the most dangerous activities in relation to infection with Corona infection.
(The activities that the study found according to the highest risk)
1. Shopping
The study found that people who do weekly shopping are more than twice as likely to be infected with the Corona virus than those who get their purchases online, as it was found that going to stores once a week carries the greatest possibility of infection with the virus, with an increased risk of infection by 2.2%. .
2. Sports abroad
In second place came exercising outside, as people who do this are 1.36 times more likely to contract the virus. But the researchers acknowledged that this may be due in part to the social activities associated with such events, rather than the exercise itself.
3. Use of public transportation
The study added that the possibility of people who frequently use public transportation to be infected with corona was about 1.3 times higher than others. Bus users were 1.3 times more likely to receive infection, followed by taxi users 1.19 times, and finally train or tram users 1.18 times.
4. Internal activities
Other high-risk activities, according to the study, included eating indoors in a restaurant or café, going to work, and going to the gym.
The study team confirmed that they did not find any increased risks for those who attend the theatre, cinema, concert or sporting event, go to the barbershop or hairdresser, or eat outdoors in a restaurant or café.
However, the time period analyzed did not include any data from the last Omicron wave of cases only captured from mid-December.
The researchers indicated that they need to conduct a more extensive study, noting the small number of young people in the study group, which may have affected the results of the study.
