The Dana Biosphere Reserve (according to the official website of UNESCO) embraces the most diverse natural environments in the country. It contains the four biogeographical regions:

- Iranian-Turanian region.
- Arabian desert region.
- Sudanese territory.
This great natural richness results from the presence of diverse geographical systems, and the diversity of altitudes in the reserve.
About 900 species of plants have been recorded in the reserve. These plants include 3 new species bearing the name Dana Reserve within its scientific name, and 16 rare species at the global level.
The Dana Reserve also provides an interesting experience for bird lovers, as the reserve has recorded 215 species of them, the most important of which are the brown eagle and the eagle. In addition to 38 species of mammals recorded by the reserve on its territory.
The enchanting Wadi Dana Trail
