The heat gradually disappears with the start of the Klebeen season.. What else accompanies it?
Arab Weather - Search rates for the start of the Klebeen season have witnessed a significant increase, with many questions on social media groups and pages about the details of this season and its start date.
This increased interest comes in conjunction with the announcement by Abdulaziz Al-Hussaini, a weather and climate expert, that Sunday, August 11, 2024, is the beginning of the Kulaibin season, also known as the “Jamal Mahnanat.” Al-Hussaini confirmed that this season represents the sixth house of summer, and is usually considered the last house of extreme heat.

The start of the clipping season
According to Al-Hussaini, the Kulaibin season starts today and will last for 13 days, also known as the “second Lahoob” or “Nathra”. This season is called “the camel’s yearning for water” because camels only yearn for water when this season begins, if the weather is extremely hot. During this period, the heat is expected to gradually subside during the night, with the weather gradually becoming moderate, and the humidity level increasing in coastal areas.

The rainy situation continues
Al-Hussaini pointed out that this year's Al-Kulaibin season coincides with the entry of a semi-strong hot air mass, which is the fifth heat mass since the beginning of summer. He added that the summer rainy conditions will continue in the western and southern regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and are likely to extend to the Sultanate of Oman, Yemen and the Emirates. It is also expected that well water levels will decrease in areas that do not receive summer rain, which is one of the signs of this season.
