A confession from the CEO of Apple about climate change!

Apple CEO Tim Cook has stated that his generation has failed to contain the problem of climate change .

"We've spent a lot of time arguing," Cook told Tulane University alumni during a speech in New Orleans on Saturday.

He added, "We've focused too much on fighting and not enough on progress - you don't need to look far to find an example of that failure!"

During his 15-minute speech, Tim Cook, 58, called on the students to do better for humanity and ignore the political hype around the issue of climate change for real change.

"This problem does not get any easier based on which side wins or loses the election," he said, adding that people should stop and think about why some people deny climate science. "It's about who wins the lottery of life and has the luxury of ignoring the issue and who loses everything."

He noted that the way of life of local farmers and fishermen depended on a healthy ecosystem. Meanwhile, catastrophic natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, which devastated New Orleans in 2005, are becoming more common.

And the last thing Cook said about climate change was: "When we talk about climate change or any problem of human cost - and there are many - I challenge you to look for those who have the most to lose, and find the real empathy that comes from something in common." "This is what we owe each other."
