Close to 100 km/h: the speed of wind gusts recorded at Queen Alia International Airport now
Weather of Arabia - The periodic report on air navigation issued by the authorities of Queen Alia International Airport indicated that the speed of wind gusts reached at 2:00 pm on Monday about 50 knots, or approximately 93 km / h, with a high continuous wind speed rate of 36 knots (67 km/h).
Wind gusts of more than 100 km/h were recorded in other monitoring stations affiliated with the Arab Weather Center, such as Manshiyet Bani Hassan in Mafraq Governorate, and southwest of the capital, Amman, in addition to the Mqablain area.
And the increase in wind speed comes at the forefront of the crossing of the main cold air front accompanying the depression, which is now concentrated to the northeast of the island of Cyprus, according to the latest satellite images.
