Injuries, recovery and examinations:
- - (1099) new cases of infection with the Coronavirus, all of them local, were recorded and were distributed as follows:
- - (737) in the governorate of the capital, Amman.
- - (184) In Zarqa Governorate.
- - (73) in Al-Balqa governorate.
- - (26) in Ajloun governorate.
- - (21) in Karak governorate.
- - (13) In Jerash Governorate.
- - (13) In Aqaba Governorate.
- - (12) In Mafraq Governorate.
- - (11) in Irbid governorate.
- - (6) In Madaba governorate.
- - (3) In Ma'an Governorate.
- This brings the total number of cases in the Kingdom to (14749) cases.
- - (9) deaths were recorded, (may God have mercy on them), bringing the total number of deaths to (88) cases.
- - (172) recoveries were recorded today, (29) in Prince Hamzah Hospital, (127) in the area for isolating the injured in the Dead Sea, (9) in Queen Alia Hospital, and (7) in accredited private hospitals.
- - The number of critical cases is (48) cases, receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Departments of accredited hospitals.
- (20240) laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests to (1271021).
Other actions:
- The areas that constitute hot spots are: the neighborhoods of Al Rabwah, Prince Hassan, Jirn, Al Salihin, the Sports City areas, Shafa Badran and Khalda in the Capital Governorate, the southern neighborhood in the Irbid governorate, the Baqaa camp and the Sweimah and Rawda districts in the Balqa governorate, and the Batrawi neighborhood and the New Zarqa area in the Zarqa governorate, and the areas The valley of al-Safi, the valley of the farm, and the town of Qasr in the Karak governorate, and the district of Eil in the governorate of Ma'an.
In light of the continued registration of local cases of infection, the Ministry of Health calls on everyone to abide by defense orders, follow safety and prevention standards, wear masks, and not hold gatherings of more than (20) people, use the (Aman) app, and the (Sehatak) app.
