Arab Weather - The month of August is coming to an end, as the Kingdom was not affected by any heat wave or significant rise in temperatures, similar to last August, when the Kingdom was affected by a strong and exceptional heat wave, with the capital Amman recording temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius for several days.

Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that the latest outputs of numerical models and computer simulations, especially those specializing in predicting the movement of air masses, indicate that heat waves will continue to move away from the Kingdom during the coming days and next week. In fact, weather forecasts also indicate a slight decrease in temperatures in the coming days.

August may end with normal summer weather and temperatures around or above average.

The experts at "Arab Weather" said that the weather maps issued this morning, Monday , do not indicate any fundamental changes in the weather conditions during the rest of the current month of August, as expectations indicate that the weather will remain normal summer weather in various regions and temperatures will be slightly higher than their usual rates, while the weather will remain hot to very hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions, in addition to the Badia regions.

Does the end of August without heat waves herald an early start to fall?

There are questions about the connection between the end of August without heat waves and the early start of autumn, but in fact, the experts at “Arab Weather” answer that this does not necessarily mean an early start to autumn, as weather systems differ from one season to another and autumn may start early in some seasons and may be delayed in others, and this also depends on the nature of the weather systems in the northern hemisphere and what the weather system produces during the coming weeks.
