Jordan | 35% of cancer cases in Jordan are caused by smoking

The remaining 10% includes cancers of the larynx, pancreas, bladder, and kidney, for which smoking is a major cause.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Hawarat pointed out that quitting smoking could reduce cancer cases from 8,000 cases annually to about 6,000 cases, if the price increase succeeded in reducing tobacco consumption.
