Arab Weather - The Jordanian Seismic Observatory, affiliated with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, reported recording 610 seismic activities since the beginning of the year, according to what was stated by the head of the observatory, Engineer Ghassan Sweidan.

Suwaidan explained to the media that the observatory monitored 119 local earthquakes , ranging in magnitude from 1 to 3.9 on the Richter scale, which are mild tremors that do not affect public life.

He also pointed out that the observatory recorded 231 regional earthquakes and 260 distant earthquakes.
