Jordan | Amman Municipality: Injuries resulting from vehicle sliding accidents in Jordan

The General Secretariat Operations Room recommended the necessity of checking vehicle tires and mud flaps to avoid skid accidents. It also sent a warning message to drivers, advising them not to leave vehicles in places where there are large billboards, in order to avoid them falling on the vehicles. The secretariat declares a moderate state of emergency to deal with a depression

It also urged inspection of submersible pumps on floors and shops located below street level, and asked merchants to take preventive precautions when storing goods in warehouses and settlement floors.
She pointed out the need for contractors and owners of construction projects to be careful, and they must secure building materials to avoid them washing away and close rainwater drainage lines.
