Jordan: The Greater Amman Municipality declares a state of light emergency to deal with the expected weather conditions

Weather of Arabia - The Greater Amman Municipality declared a light emergency, starting this Friday morning, with it raising it to medium in the evening, in order to deal with the expected weather conditions as a result of the approach of a relatively cold and humid air mass associated with rain showers.

The media spokesman for the Municipality of Amman, Nasser Al-Rahamneh, confirmed the readiness of the Municipality's cadres in the field to deal with any reports received by the Tla'a Al-Ali emergency room, calling on citizens, in the event of any observation, to contact the unified call center numbers (102 and 117180).

He also called for caution and caution by staying away from the streams of valleys and low areas, and not connecting the gutters of houses (the roof) to the sewage springs, just as he called on contractors and owners of construction projects to take the initiative to secure building materials in order to avoid their erosion and causing them to close rainwater drainage lines.

He stressed the need to inspect the submersible pumps in the floors and shops that are below street level, and for merchants to take preventive precautions when storing goods in warehouses and settlement floors.
