Jordan | The continuation of the heat wave and forty degrees temperatures in various regions of the Kingdom on Monday
Arab Weather - The latest forecasts issued by the forecast staff in the Arab weather indicate that temperatures for Monday will remain higher than the usual rates, within the limits of 9-11 degrees Celsius.
The weather is very hot in all regions of the Kingdom, and the maximum temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius in most cities, including the capital, Amman.
With the afternoon hours, cumulus clouds appear in limited areas of the Kingdom, especially the south, and there is an opportunity for sporadic local showers of rain that may sometimes be accompanied by thunder and wind activity that raises dust.
The winds will be southeasterly, moderate in speed, activating in some areas and raising some dust in the desert areas, and the winds will turn with afternoon hours in the western regions to northwesterly, moderate in speed.
Important recommendations for dealing with the heat wave:
- It is advised not to be exposed to direct or prolonged exposure to sunlight between the hours of 11 am and 5 pm.
- Do not leave children inside closed vehicles, even for a short period during the noon and afternoon hours
- Do not leave any flammable or explosive materials inside closed vehicles for long periods
- Avoid indiscriminate disposal of cigarettes in dry places, as they can cause fires
- Be aware of the high chances of fires near trees or forests
- The negative effect on patients with the respiratory system and eyes
- It is advised to drink extra amounts of water
- Dusty wind activity in some desert areas
