Arab Weather - Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate, announced the closure of Wadi Araba Road in both directions; Low visibility due to dust.

The ministry said in a press release issued by the Media and Communication Unit, that the traffic movement on the Wadi Araba road was cut off from the Bir Mazkour area towards Aqaba and from the Qatar area and beyond customs temporarily and precautionary; Low visibility due to dust.

The ministry added in a press release issued by the Information and Communication Unit, that the roads within the jurisdiction in the south are traversed with great caution, and sections of them are closed from time to time, according to the assessment of the cadres working in the field in coordination with the Public Security Directorate.

She emphasized that the mechanisms were reinforced and installed in the sites most vulnerable to the current weather conditions, since this morning, noting that a gathering of shifting sand was dealt with in the Wadi Araba region, the Grendel region, and the Ahimer bridge through the cadres of the Aqaba Works Directorate.

The ministry renewed its warning to citizens traveling on external roads of low horizontal visibility from time to time due to dust formation resulting from the active winds accompanying the Khamsini depression affecting the Kingdom, especially the desert road and roads in the east of the Kingdom, in addition to the Dead Sea Road towards Aqaba (Wadi Araba Road).

And it called on citizens to take the utmost caution and caution, and be careful while driving on external roads and to follow the rules of safe driving, to be aware of the danger of low horizontal visibility due to dust, and to abide by the directives of its cadres working in the field and the cadres of partners in the Public Security Directorate, according to information received from the Meteorological Department. air.
