Jordan | The very cold Siberian air mass imposes its control over the Kingdom on Monday
Arab weather - According to the latest outputs of numerical weather models, it is expected that the impact of the very cold Siberian polar air mass will deepen on the Kingdom on Monday, as there is a sharp drop in temperatures to be below rates for this time of the year, where temperatures range between 4 and 6 degrees in Most regions of the Kingdom, and the weather is cold to very cold and clear, with snow forming on the roads in the morning, especially those that witnessed snowfall.
The wind is variable direction, light to moderate speed.
More cold Arctic Siberian winds flow towards the kingdom on Monday/Tuesday night and temperatures are very low
The Siberian polar air mass is moving towards the south and covering large areas of Iraq and thus pushing freezing cold winds towards all regions of the Kingdom, which will reach its peak on Monday/Tuesday night, as temperatures drop in all regions of the Kingdom to be below zero by approximately 4 degrees Celsius in the Badia regions, while It is between below zero percentage in the capital Amman and the main cities.
With an opportunity for frost and stagnation to form in several parts of the Kingdom, it includes opportunities, including all areas of the Jordan Valley.
In light of the expected weather conditions, the Arab Weather Center advises the necessity of:
- Attention to the danger of freezing and icing, which poses a danger to driving on the roads and to livestock plants, so it is advised to prepare early for this
- Reducing movement and not driving on roads that witness the formation of ice, especially on Monday morning
- The safe use of heating devices and heavy clothing, especially for the elderly and children.
