Arab Weather - The results of the computer simulation in the regional Arab Weather indicate that temperatures will gradually rise again in the coming days, especially on Wednesday and Thursday, to return to being around their averages for this time of year, as a result of the Kingdom being affected by an extension of the so-called Red Sea depression, with an expected return of the activity of the eastern winds that raise dust and dirt, which leads to a noticeable increase in the feeling of coldness, especially at night and in the early morning.

Sunny and pleasant autumn weather on Tuesday

Temperatures tend to rise slightly on Tuesday, but remain below their average for this time of year, by about 2-3 degrees Celsius. The weather is cold during the morning hours, becoming pleasantly autumnal during the day, with highs in the capital Amman reaching about 20-21 degrees Celsius. Winds are light and variable. During the night hours, i.e. Tuesday/Wednesday night, the weather is relatively cold to cold, with lows dropping to about 11-14 degrees Celsius in various regions.

Specialists at the Arab Weather Center said that the Red Sea thermal depression does not follow the characteristics of the Mediterranean frontal depressions, so its effects on the Kingdom will be in the form of:

1. High temperatures and dry weather

The Red Sea depression will cause temperatures to rise to around their usual rates on Wednesday and Thursday, with a generally dry atmosphere. The weather will be sunny and cool during the day over the mountainous heights and moderate in the rest of the Kingdom, while the weather will be cold at night, God willing.

2. Moderate speed southeasterly winds, sometimes active, causing dust and dirt to rise.

Coinciding with the dry extension of the Red Sea depression during the weekend, there is a high pressure system from the north and east, with moderate speed easterly to southeasterly winds blowing, sometimes active and causing dust and dirt storms in several areas, especially on Thursday, which in turn leads to a noticeable increase in the feeling of cold, especially during the night and early morning hours.

3. Chances of thunderstorms concentrated in the east of the Kingdom.

The extension of the Red Sea depression may be accompanied by some local rain showers, especially on Thursday morning, in limited geographical areas, concentrated in the east of the Kingdom.
