Jordan | Amman International Marathon kicks off tomorrow
Weather of Arabia - The Jordanian Marathon Association "Run Jordan" announced the completion of the necessary arrangements for the traffic plan for road closures and diversions for the Amman International Marathon, which begins tomorrow, Friday, with the wide participation of local and international runners.
The association said in a statement today that the cadres of the Traffic Department will help citizens follow the alternative routes that were allocated during the race activities.
She indicated that the 42 km race track (individual / relay) and 21 km race will be completely closed from twelve o'clock midnight today Thursday until twelve noon tomorrow Friday, as the race track will be closed completely starting from the new Raghadan Complex - Army Street in both directions and from Then the Hashemite Square area, Quraish Street, Ali Bin Abi Talib Street, all the way to the immigrant signals, and then Omar Matar Street, King Talal Street and Al Hashimi Street.
As for the 10 km race, which starts at nine in the morning, the race track will be completely closed at six in the morning until twelve in the afternoon, and the closure includes Queen Alia Street between the Sports City Roundabout and Al Dakhiliyah Roundabout, in addition to Queen Noor Street between Al Dakhiliyah Roundabout and the Fourth Circle.
Uqba Bin Nafeh Street, Princess Basma Street, Ali Bin Abi Talib Street and Quraish Street will also be completely closed until reaching the Hashemite Square area.
