Arabia Weather - Although the summer season has not yet begun astronomically in the northern hemisphere, the specialized team at the Arabia Weather Center monitored many Arab countries in the region recording very high temperatures, approaching the threshold of 50 degrees Celsius in most Gulf countries, as well as Jordan was not far from the influence of the hot air mass coming from the desert of the Arabian Peninsula, which led to the first third of June 2024 being clearly and significantly warmer than its usual levels in the Kingdom.

With the impact of the recent hot air mass on the Kingdom during the past days, temperatures reached 40 degrees Celsius east of the capital, Amman, and the Jordan Valley and Aqaba regions were also subjected to a severe impact of the hot air mass, as a result of which temperatures exceeded the 46 degree Celsius barrier in many official stations of the Administration. According to Jordanian meteorology, the highest temperature was in Deir Alla, which was close to 48 degrees Celsius!

Specialists at the Arabia Weather Center said that the Kingdom is about to be affected by a new hot air mass at the end of this week, with temperatures returning to the end of the thirties Celsius in most major cities, and reaching levels in the forties in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions.
