Arab weather - On Saturday, Jordan began to be affected by the heat wave, which will continue its impact for at least a week, and as a result, temperatures rose clearly in various regions of the Kingdom to exceed the 40 degrees Celsius barrier in many areas, including parts of the capital Amman on Sunday
According to the meteorological monitoring stations, the highest temperature was recorded on Sunday at Deir Alla monitoring station, reaching 46.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Aqaba, which recorded 45.2 degrees Celsius, while the Amman airport monitoring station recorded 40.5 degrees Celsius.
The heat wave is expected to continue in the coming days, and there will be a further rise in temperatures, thus becoming 7-10 degrees Celsius higher than their average for this time of the year.
