Jordan is affected by five-year weather conditions on Monday

Weather of Arabia - It is expected that Jordan will be affected on Monday by a five-year depression, which is expected to be concentrated on Monday afternoon to the north of Egypt, where a significant rise in temperatures will occur and become several degrees Celsius higher than the usual rates.

And the Kingdom is dominated by Khamseen weather conditions, so that the weather is relatively hot, dry, and dusty in most regions of the Kingdom, and it is even hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and quantities of high and medium clouds appear at intervals. The winds are southwesterly, gradually activating during the day with strong gusts at times, causing dust waves to occur, especially in the Badia regions. It is also expected that the activity of the southern winds will raise the waves clearly in the Gulf of Aqaba.

And with the early evening and night hours, the five-year conditions continue to affect the Kingdom, so that the weather is mild, dry, and dusty as well in several regions of the Kingdom. Gradually during the night, moist northwest winds blow over the Kingdom, causing a decrease in temperatures and an increase in surface humidity, so that the weather tends to be cold in several areas with the late night hours.

Recommendations:

• Pay attention to the high levels of dust in the atmosphere and its consequences for eye patients and patients with the respiratory system, as it is advised to close the windows and not be exposed to dusty winds.
• Attention to the low and perhaps the lack of horizontal visibility in the south and east of the Kingdom as a result of sand storms.
• Attention from sea turbulence and high waves clearly in the Gulf of Aqaba.​

As for Tuesday, the same Khamasini depression will move towards Turkish lands, and a less hot air mass will push behind it, so that temperatures will drop to become around their usual rates for this time of the year.

And the weather returns to become moderate in temperature over the mountain heights, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Bahr al-Mit and Aqaba regions, and the Badia regions are affected by unstable weather conditions, so that quantities of medium and high clouds appear, and are interspersed with some cumulus clouds, accompanied by thundershowers from precipitation in those areas. The winds are generally westerly to southwesterly, moderate in speed, and may become active at times.

During the night hours, the weather is pleasant in most areas, and it tends to be cold in many areas with the late night hours.
