Injuries, recovery and checks:

Today (5) new cases of coronavirus, all of them not local, were recorded for Jordanians coming from abroad, who reside in Al-Hajar Hotels. (2 from Bahrain, 2 from Syria, and 1 from Saudi Arabia).

- 4 healing cases were recorded today at Prince Hamza Hospital.

This brings the total number of cumulative injury cases that were discovered to 1223 cases.

Today (6066) laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of examinations conducted to date (519998).

Other actions:

- The World Health Organization (WHO) requested the Ministry of Health not to count the injuries of non-Jordanian truck drivers whose injuries were discovered at the border, and were returned to the countries from which they came; So that only the injuries that entered the Kingdom's hospitals are approved; Accordingly, the total number of injuries will be updated to reflect this starting tomorrow, Tuesday.

In light of the increasing number of cases worldwide, and the resurgence of the epidemic in many countries of the world and the region; The Ministry of Health warns of any practices that violate public safety and prevention measures, especially with regard to setting up gatherings of more than (20) people; And it confirms that the competent authorities will intensify their efforts and take strict measures against violators of defense orders.

- The Ministry of Health also stresses the need to adhere to wearing masks, physical distance, and follow all means of prevention, and use the (safety) application that contributed to discovering many cases, and facilitating access of epidemiological investigation teams to contacts, as well as the use of the (health) application that provides its users with the latest information and news And guidance on the world over the Coronavirus.
