Injuries, recovery and checks:

Today (6) new cases of coronavirus were recorded, all of them local, as follows:

(3) Cases of people coming from abroad who reside in Al-Hajar Hotels. (2 from Saudi Arabia, and 1 from Iraq).

(3) Cases of Jordanian truck drivers arriving across the Al-Omari border.

This brings the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 1224 cases.

24 cases of recovery were also recorded, including (18) in Prince Hamzah Hospital, and (6) in the area for isolating the injured in the Dead Sea.

- (4781) laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests conducted to date (616656).

Other actions:

- It was decided to postpone the regular flights to and from destinations and green countries, based on the recommendation of the National Committee for Epidemics, in light of the instability of the epidemiological situation globally, and the great acceleration in the number of infections with the Corona virus.

- Jordanian airports will remain open to receive citizens, and the departure of Jordanians and non-Jordanians, and the number of Jordanian return flights from abroad will be increased from various destinations.

As for Jordanians returning from green countries and destinations, they will be subjected to an institutional quarantine for a week, after conducting a PCR examination confirming that they were not infected upon arrival in the Kingdom.
