The Minister of Information Affairs, Amjad Al-Adayleh, stated through a press briefing held this evening:

In response to the royal directives, the Prime Minister will announce tomorrow, Thursday, the government program to support daily workers, and a series of important measures and decisions to support workers in the affected economic establishments, and protect them from the effects of joblessness, through the General Organization for Social Security
The curfew procedures and the mitigation of citizens in some governorates that have not recorded any cases of injury will be modified. We will start in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, starting next Sunday morning, and we will announce the details of the new procedures later.
The continued easing of procedures on citizens depends on the extent of their commitment, and the use of means of prevention and precaution, and in the event of violations or injuries, the aggravated prohibitions will return as they were previously.
I confirm here that, before mitigating the procedures in any region, the epidemiological investigation teams will conduct random large-scale examinations, which was confirmed by His Majesty the King today.
Today, Prime Minister Dr. Omar Al-Razaz issued Defense Orders 7 and 8, which include procedures and decisions related to the continuity of education in educational institutions of all categories, and the adoption of modern technological means in education, training and student assessment.
Through this procedure, we seek to turn the challenge into an opportunity, by expanding distance education.
We received information about people who concealed their HIV infection, or had contact with infected people, and thus transmitted the infection to others; this is a crime punishable by law. The relevant authorities have identified and arrested them, and investigations are underway.
These irresponsible practices are among the most important reasons that led us to issue Defense Order No. (8).
Considering the expected economic impacts due to the repercussions of the Coruna epidemic, and with the aim of proposing economic policies and programs that would overcome economic difficulties and repercussions and invest opportunities;
Prime Minister Dr. Omar Al-Razaz decided to form an economic policy advisory council under his chairmanship, and for membership of experts from the public and private sectors, and civil society institutions.
Regarding permits for humanitarian and emergency cases, governors and administrative governors have been empowered to deal with them and take necessary steps in their regard.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, announced that 4 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Jordan, bringing the total number of infections to 401 and registering 15 new cases of recovery.
The new infections were distributed as follows:
3 contact cases in Irbid and one case of a child who has contact with an infected mother
