Jordan: Signing two agreements in the field of alternative energy in Ma'an Governorate
<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">ArabiaWeather.com - The Ma'an Development Company in southern Jordan signed two agreements with two Chinese companies operating in the field of alternative and renewable energy, with the aim of exchanging information and conducting studies for investment opportunities.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The executive director of the company, Eng. Hussein Krishan, said, "We signed two agreements, the first is an information exchange agreement with the (CSEC) company, which works in the field of wind energy, and it will be implemented early next year," according to which the Chinese company conducts studies for the investment opportunities available in the field of manufacturing and generating electricity in Ma'an development area, as well as market study and submission of offers related to the establishment of a project to exploit wind energy.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> As for the second agreement, it was with the company (Ying Li Energy), which is specialized in the field of manufacturing (photovoltaic) cells and generating electrical energy from solar energy.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Krishan said that the agreement also includes the exchange of information, as the Chinese company is interested in setting up a project to generate electric power from solar energy in Jordan, as well as setting up a photovoltaic cell production plant in Ma'an Governorate.</p>
