Arabia Weather - The latest satellite images received by the Arabia Weather Center indicate that the cold air front has begun to approach the atmosphere of the center of the Kingdom after it crossed the atmosphere of the northern regions, accompanied by stormy and cold weather, with heavy rainfall.
During the next two hours, rain is expected to begin in central areas, including the capital, Amman, so that the weather will become cold, cloudy, windy, and rainy, God willing. These rains will be very heavy and accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms and heavy hail showers, especially over the highlands, causing... Precipitation results in a significant rise in water levels, significant flow of valleys, and the occurrence of torrents in low-lying areas and slopes, some of which are sweeping.
The Kingdom is also strongly affected by southwesterly winds, becoming generally strong, with gusts exceeding 100 km/hour, causing dense dust waves that lead to a significant decrease in horizontal visibility, especially on desert roads.
As for the night hours, the effect of the depression reaches its peak over the Kingdom, as the cold air front completes its crossing of the Kingdom’s atmosphere, with which the cold, stormy, cloudy, and rainy weather extends to most regions of the Kingdom, God willing. This rain is very heavy, especially in the early hours of the night, and is accompanied by the occurrence of Strong thunderstorms and heavy hail showers.
During the peak of the depression, the accompanying weather is expected to cause a significant rise in water levels, significant flow of valleys, and the occurrence of torrents in low-lying areas and slopes, some of which will be sweeping.
Some rain will extend towards the city of Aqaba, God willing, where it may be thundery at times in the early evening hours. Low clouds touching the surface of the earth will cross several highlands in the Kingdom, causing fog to form and a decrease in horizontal visibility.
