Arab Weather - The latest output of the numerical models processed by the Air Operations Department at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicates that the Kingdom was affected by a cold air mass on Saturday, as there is a significant decrease in temperatures and the weather is relatively cold in most regions of the Kingdom, and cold in the southern mountain peaks and the Sharah highlands. .

A state of atmospheric instability gradually arises on Saturday as a result of the convergence of the Red Sea depression on the surface with the very cold air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere, where quantities of clouds appear at different altitudes and the opportunity is prepared for local showers of rain on random areas, the rains are of varying intensity. It is not excluded that it will be heavy at times (especially with the afternoon and evening hours), and accompanied by showers of hail in narrow geographical areas, especially from the south and east of the Kingdom, including the city of Aqaba, and may be accompanied by the occurrence of thunder over some areas.

The Kingdom continues to be affected by unstable weather conditions on Saturday/Sunday night

With the night hours of Saturday/Sunday, there is a decrease in night temperatures compared to the previous nights, and the weather will be cold in various regions of the Kingdom, and very cold in the peaks of the Al-Sharah Mountains, coinciding with a significant and noticeable rise in the percentages of surface humidity so that fog forms in different regions of the Kingdom. It is not excluded that the fog will be thick at times, causing a decrease in the horizontal visibility to its lowest level.

And the Kingdom continues to be affected by a state of atmospheric instability, where the opportunity is ripe for random showers of rain, especially in the south of the Kingdom, including the Aqaba Basin. Snow over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains and Mount Umm al-Dami.

Another drop in temperatures on Sunday, and the focus of a state of atmospheric instability in the eastern regions

On Sunday, the Kingdom is increasingly affected by cold northwestern air currents, so there is a further decrease in temperatures to become around slightly less than their rates for this time of the year, and the weather is relatively cold to cold in all regions of the Kingdom.

Clouds continue to appear at different altitudes, with a concentration of atmospheric instability in the eastern regions, especially the eastern Badia regions, where showers of rain fall in those regions. Cloudy skies and chance of random local showers of rain.

Gradual stability in the weather on Sunday evening

With the evening and night hours, the amount of clouds decreases, and the weather returns to gradual stability in all regions of the Kingdom. A significant increase in surface moisture levels occurs, and fog forms over the mountainous heights and various parts of the plains and valleys. It is not excluded that the fog is sometimes dense over some areas.

Northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, especially on Saturday

Light to moderate speed northwest winds blow over the Kingdom, sometimes bashing over the eastern regions and causing dust. However, on Sunday, the northwest winds intensify, so that they are moderate to brisk, accompanied by strong gifts that raise dust and dust in the desert and open areas.
