Jordan: Temperatures are rising significantly, and weather closer to `spring` is expected in the Kingdom in the coming days

Weather of Arabia - The latest air readings of computer simulation models of the movement of air masses indicate expectations that the countries of the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, including Jordan, will be affected by a warm air mass during the coming days, due to expectations of a very cold polar air flow towards different regions of the European continent, as well as parts northwest of Africa. On the other hand, in such weather patterns, an opposite state of air flow occurs, so that this flow of cold air is matched by another flow of warm air over the regions of the Levant, God willing.

And in the Levantine folk custom, the last days of February and the first of March are called “extractors”, as there are many folk tales about the cold weather and the abundance of rain during this period, but the atmosphere this time does not stand with these popular norms, as it is expected God willing, an atmosphere closer to "Spring" will prevail in Amman and the Jordanian cities.

And in the details, the specialists in the Arab Weather Center said that temperatures are expected to rise gradually, starting from Sunday, February 26, 2023, when pleasant and sunny weather prevails in most regions of the Kingdom, God willing, and the temperature continues to rise during the week’s sea to exceed its normal levels. In the range of 8-10 degrees Celsius, and the highest is between the beginning to the mid-twenties in most Jordanian cities, and temperatures rise in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba to reach around the thirty degrees Celsius during the second half of the week. On a related level, it is expected that a rise will also occur in the night temperatures, so that the weather will become less cold than it is used to for this time of the year, but the weather will remain cold in most regions.

And the Jordanians will feel the warmth of the atmosphere remarkably with the noon and afternoon hours, especially in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions, where expectations indicate a calm in the wind speed and an absence of clouds, which makes the sun’s rays shine and thus increase the feeling of warmth, and this atmosphere is considered Suitable for trips accompanied by family and friends in all regions.
