Weather of Arabia - The Director of Agriculture in the North-West Badia, Engineer Ahed Obeidat, called on livestock breeders to provide sources of heat in the livestock pen, which contributes to providing a warm atmosphere for their holdings of sheep, goats and cows, during these extremely cold weather conditions.
"Ruya" quoted the engineer, Ahed Obeidat, "that livestock breeders must maintain the dryness of the floor and avoid the accumulation of dung in it by closing the openings that allow rainwater to enter, stressing the need to maintain good ventilation inside the garages so as not to accumulate harmful gases to prevent the occurrence of Pneumococcal infections in livestock coffee due to the high rate of methane gas produced by dung.
Obeidat stressed the need for farmers to inspect greenhouses and increase the fixation of plastic on metal structures and doors.
