Weather of Arabia - The Kingdom began to be affected yesterday by unstable weather conditions in the form of cumulus clouds in the eastern region and a strong sandstorm that affected large parts of the Kingdom and affected many aspects of public life.
It is expected that the impact of the state of atmospheric instability will be renewed during the coming hours, as large amounts of clouds and cumulus clouds multiply starting from the noon hours and during the afternoon and evening hours, and the opportunity for thunder showers of rain is prepared, God willing, in all areas of the eastern Badia, and with the hours after In the afternoon and afternoon, it is expected that some convective clouds will extend westward and randomly to also affect some other areas and cities, including the capital, which may also cause the formation of torrents in some areas.
The cumulus clouds are also accompanied by a great activity of the winds, which will form dense dust waves or possibly sand storms that greatly reduce the horizontal visibility.
Accordingly, Arabia Weather issued some important recommendations:
- Attention to the high possibility of sudden and sweeping torrential rains in all areas of the Eastern Badia, which include different parts of the Mafraq and Zarqa governorates, including also Al-Azraq, Al-Safawi, Al-Ruwaished, the Jordanian/Iraqi borders and the Jordanian/Saudi borders and the ports leading to them.
- Attention to the danger of severe thunderstorms and the risk of lightning strikes and hail showers, which may be large in size, especially in the eastern Badia regions.
- Attention to the risk of reduced horizontal visibility as a result of dust waves.
- Pay attention to the high levels of dust in the atmosphere from the effects of this on patients with respiratory system, asthma, sinuses and eyes.
- Raising preparedness in the surrounding cities, including the capital, due to the possibility of unstable weather conditions extending to it.
