Jordan | Record and large amounts of rain in the north of the Kingdom approaching 100 mm, and more rain in the coming hours, and a warning of floods and valley flows!
Arabia Weather - Arab Weather stations in the north of the Kingdom recorded large and record rainfall values, as the Rasoun/Ajloun station, as well as Sanar, recorded approximately 90 mm until 8:30 pm on Sunday evening, with expectations that it will break the 100 mm barrier during the coming hours, God willing, as a result. Expectations of more rain clouds, with warnings of floods and valley flows. Malka station/north Irbid also recorded about 70 mm of rain.
These rainfall amounts are considered much higher than the normal rates assumed for this period of the year, as they represent a total of more than 350% of what is supposed to fall until this time of the year and about 10% of what is supposed to fall during the entire rainy season.
This comes as a result of the Kingdom being affected by a third-degree air depression, which is the degree that means that the depression is moderate to highly effective, and its impact on the Kingdom is expected to continue tomorrow. This depression is considered the first actual depression to affect the Kingdom this season, which we ask God to make it a promising start to the rainy season. As the Kingdom has not been affected by such a depression in the month of November since 2014, which was then affected by what is called Storm Bushra.
