Jordan | Amounts of clouds are advancing to the Kingdom, bringing showers of rain and snow, and expectations of an intensification of the depression in the coming hours.
Arab Weather - The latest satellite images and weather radars operating at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicate the monitoring of quantities of medium and low clouds advancing to the north and center of the Kingdom in the coming hours, where it is expected that showers of rain and hail will fall, and it is not excluded that the rain will be heavy, and the opportunity is ripe. Showers of snow fall over the high mountain heights of more than 1000, God willing.
The impact of the depression and very cold air mass deepened today
It is expected, God willing, that the impact of the extremely cold air mass of polar origin on the Kingdom will deepen on Thursday, so there will be a further decrease in temperatures to be several degrees lower than their rates for this time of the year, and the weather will be cold in general, and very cold over the mountainous heights.
With the afternoon and afternoon hours, the Kingdom crosses a cold air front, where large amounts of clouds appear at different heights in many areas, and showers of rain fall on the north and center of the Kingdom. The northern ones, with a height of more than 1200 meters, are in the form of rain snow mixed with snow over the rest of the mountainous heights, and low clouds that touch the surface of the earth pass through the formation of fog over the high mountain heights.
Winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, moderate to brisk, accompanied by strong gusts that exceed the 70 km/h barrier sometimes in the afternoon, and they raise dust and dust in desert areas.
Very cold weather tonight with the continuation of various precipitations
Temperatures drop further during the night hours and the weather is generally very cold, with the spread of clouds at medium and low altitudes, and showers of rain fall on the north and center, accompanied by showers of hail sometimes, and snow falls over the northern mountainous heights whose height is more than 1200 meters, and precipitation sometimes extends to parts of the south of the Kingdom, and snow showers are not excluded over the peaks of the southern mountainous heights.
The chances of snow showers are due to improve over the central regions, which are more than 1,000 meters above sea level, including the capital’s peaks and remain high after midnight, coinciding with the crossing of low clouds touching the surface of the earth, forming thick fog over the high mountain heights.
Winds will be northwest to southwesterly, moderate in speed, in all regions, active at times, and they will raise dust and dust in desert areas.
