Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that the latest outputs of computer models showing the movement of air masses indicate that a hot air mass coming from the Arabian Peninsula will affect the eastern regions of the Kingdom, and its effects will be indirect on the main cities, but it will cause temperatures to rise to levels higher than their normal rates for this time of year by several degrees Celsius.

Temperatures are about 5 degrees Celsius above average in the second half of the week.

In detail, temperatures will start to rise starting Tuesday, and will increase further on Wednesday to be 3-5 degrees Celsius higher than their average for this time of year. The weather will be relatively hot over the mountainous heights and hot in the rest of the regions, while it will be very hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the eastern Badia regions, which will be under the influence of the hot air mass.

Temperatures reach the forties in the Jordan Valley and eastern regions

Experts reported that maximum temperatures in major cities and the capital Amman will be between the early and mid-thirties Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday, while they will reach the early forties Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the city of Aqaba, and will touch the middle of it in parts of the eastern Badia.

Northwesterly winds blowing during the afternoon and evening periods

Northwesterly winds will continue to blow in the Kingdom in the coming days, with moderate speed during the afternoon and evening hours, and sometimes active, especially in the eastern regions during those periods, which may lead to dust and dirt being stirred up in the desert areas of the Kingdom.

Hot air is close to the Kingdom but does not penetrate deep enough to cause a heat wave.

For their part, weather experts at the Arab Weather Center confirmed that weather maps indicate that hot air is approaching the Kingdom, but it does not penetrate deep enough to cause a heat wave or raise temperatures to very high levels. Therefore, there are no signs of heat waves in Jordan in the coming days, despite the high temperatures.

• Maximum temperatures will be in the early thirties Celsius over the mountains, while they will reach the mid-thirties Celsius in the rest of the cities and regions of the Kingdom, and will reach the late thirties Celsius in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
