Jordan | A new third-degree depression, and snow is present in a number of regions
Weather of Arabia - The Kingdom is affected, as of Wednesday morning, by a third air depression in less than a week, after we were affected by two air depressions the past few days, bringing with it again very cold, winter and even snowy weather for some areas.
Details of the third-degree air depression that begins on Wednesday morning:
A cold air front begins to cross the Kingdom's airspace from the dawn hours of Wednesday and from the northern region accompanying an air depression stationed off the Syrian coast, the atmosphere gradually becomes rainy with the morning hours of Wednesday throughout the northern and central region in addition to the southern heights.
It is also expected that precipitation will be in the morning in the form of showers of hail and snow over the high mountain heights that are more than 1000 meters above sea level and may extend below that height at intervals, and some accumulations are not excluded.
However, with the noon hours, the level of snowfall throughout the mountainous heights rises to more than 1200 meters, with the continuation of rain and hail at lower altitudes.
At night, cold, polar winds of Siberian origins rush into the Kingdom behind the depression, and the weather is very cold and fluctuates between partly cloudy and cloudy with showers of rain and hail at intervals in different parts of the north and center of the Kingdom in addition to the Karak Governorate. These precipitations gradually extend during the night towards parts of the southern regions.
Snow also falls, but intermittently above the mountainous heights of more than 800 meters above sea level, and accumulates from time to time and the higher the height above sea level, and later the snowfall is concentrated on the heights of Karak and perhaps Tafila, and snowfall is not ruled out again in some areas Eastern Badia.
A strong wave of freezing and snow in the late hours of Wednesday/Thursday night
With the late night hours, precipitation declines, but temperatures drop sharply to below zero degrees Celsius in many areas, to form freezing and snow in the streets and roads, including roads inside cities or external roads.

In addition to the aforementioned weather phenomena, active westerly winds will blow over the Kingdom with strong gusts touching 100 km/h, especially over the southern mountains.
