Jordan | A large-scale and strong wave of frost and freezing Saturday night/Sunday into the late hours of Sunday morning

Weather of Arabia - Another decrease in night temperatures occurs with the hours of Saturday / Sunday night, so that the temperatures are around below zero centigrade in several parts of the Kingdom during the late night hours.

With the decrease in the amount of clouds coinciding with the decline in wind speed, the weather conditions are ripe for the formation of frost and freezing in many large areas of the Kingdom, including the main cities, and the freezing will be severe on the roads that witness an accumulation of snow.

Frost and freezing start early at night and continue into the hours of Sunday morning

It is expected, God willing, that the frost and freezing will start early in the night, intensify and expand with the passage of time and continue until the late hours of Saturday morning, especially over the high mountainous heights.

Under the expected weather conditions, the Arab Weather website advises:

• Avoid driving on roads that experience snow formation due to the high risk of slipping and loss of vehicle control
• Be aware of the danger of frost and freezing effects on crops and livestock
• Cover exposed pipes with pieces of cloth
• Put antifreeze in vehicles.
