Jordan | Ministry of Water and Irrigation: Rainfall records 1.6% of the season and dam income is 470 thousand cubic meters
Arab Weather - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation - Jordan Valley Authority said that the long-term annual average of rainfall rose until Tuesday morning, 11/26/2024, to 1.6% of the long-term annual average of about 8.1 billion cubic meters annually, noting that the percentage of rainfall from the long-term annual average on the same date last year was 2.1% and that the amounts of rainwater that entered the dams during the past twenty-four hours amounted to 470 thousand cubic meters until this morning during the past twenty-four hours, so that the total storage in the main dams became 57.3 million cubic meters with a total storage rate of 19.9% of its storage capacity of 288,128 million m3, and the highest amount of rainfall recorded in Balqa / Southern Adasiya during 24 hours amounted to 9.3 mm.
