Jordan/Monday: The Kingdom is increasingly affected by a colder than usual air mass and a clear drop in temperatures
Arab Weather - Weather maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the air mass with colder-than-usual temperatures will increase its influence on the Kingdom on Monday, leading to a drop in temperatures to become about 2-4 degrees Celsius below their annual average.
Relatively cold weather over the mountains and cold in the rest of the regions
Cold weather prevails in the morning with fog forming in the southern Badia regions and parts of the eastern plains. Fog forecasts include the desert road, and it is not unlikely that it will be dense at times. On Monday, relatively cold weather prevails in the highlands, and tends to be cold in the rest of the regions. Maximum temperatures in the capital, Amman, and the high mountainous regions are expected to reach around 16 degrees Celsius during the day, with clouds appearing at different altitudes. Scattered and light showers of rain are likely to fall in limited parts of the north of the Kingdom for a temporary period, and the winds will be westerly, moderate in speed, and sometimes active.
Cold weather at night and need to wear warm clothes
During the night hours, Monday/Tuesday night, there will be a noticeable drop in night temperatures and cold weather will prevail in general, reaching 8-10 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, the highlands and the eastern plains, which requires wearing warm clothes, especially for those living in the highlands. Light westerly winds are also expected to blow.
Temperature variation between day and night requires attention from seasonal diseases
As the cold weather continues into the night, there is expected to be a significant difference in temperatures between day and night, with the difference reaching about 10-12 degrees Celsius, which increases the likelihood of catching a cold and seasonal diseases, especially in children.
And God knows best.
