Jordan/Update: The beginning of the cold front crossing the north of the Kingdom, accompanied by a sudden change in the weather (strong wind activity and some rain showers)
Arab Weather - The latest outputs of our processed computer modeling at the "Arab Weather Regional Center" as well as the latest satellite images still indicate that the Kingdom is gradually beginning to be affected by radical and major changes in the weather.
A cold air front crosses the Kingdom's skies
Accompanied by strong winds, rapid showers of rain and a sharp drop in temperatures.
In detail, the Kingdom is expected to witness a radical change in the weather starting from Sunday afternoon, as a cold air front is expected to cross the Kingdom’s atmosphere and begin to actually affect the areas of the far north of Irbid, while the same front will cross the rest of the Kingdom’s areas during the next few hours, so that the wind speed will increase significantly to become strong at times and accompanied by gusts that may sometimes exceed the 80 km/hour barrier. The crossing of the cold front is also accompanied by the appearance of large amounts of clouds and rapid rain showers, which are generally light to medium in intensity, coinciding with a sharp and significant drop in temperatures.
Heavy dust storms expected in desert areas
The passage of the cold front and the accompanying strong winds are expected to cause dense dust waves in desert areas and some external roads, which will lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility and obstruction of traffic.
Very cold night in different areas
Temperatures approach zero in the Shara Mountains and below 5 degrees in Amman
Experts at "Arab Weather" believe that temperatures will continue to drop significantly and rapidly in various regions, and the weather will turn remarkably cold, especially at night, with minimum temperatures approaching zero degrees Celsius in some areas, such as the peaks of the Shara Mountains, which will make the weather very cold, while it will be between 5 - 3 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, amidst very cold weather, and God knows best.
